the poet

Adrien Salazar is a poet, playwright, activist, scholar, philopher, and social innovator. He is based in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area.

His poetry and prose has been published in {m}aganda magazine and Write or Be Erased, a Poetry for the People anthology. His plays and performances have been featured by Bindlestiff Studio, Youth Speaks in San Francisco, and Kearny Street Workshop in their annual APAture Festival of Asian American artists.

He keeps two notebooks, any number of sketchbooks, blogs, and storms of post-it notes to dramatize his life. His work is under constant re-development.

At this very moment, something begins to take form in the vicinity of these nodes of interest: art, pop culture, politics, sexuality, social justice, race, history, family, education, economy, spirituality, social media, poetry, community, and the revolution.

He is far more radical than he lets on.
